The Beauty in Our Differences
The true turning point in my artistic journey arrived the day I picked up a charcoal pencil and drew a young, bald Black woman. It was the first real piece of art that made me feel a deep, undeniable sense of pride. Charcoal—with its raw texture, rich depths, and unforgiving honesty—unlocked something new within me.
