A Lifelong Canvas

For as long as I can remember, the world has made the most sense to me when translated through the tip of a pencil. My relationship with art began before I even had the vocabulary to explain it; at just two years old, while others were merely learning to navigate the world, I was already trying to capture it.

What started as childhood scribbles quickly evolved into a lifelong devotion. Over the years, my sketchbooks have become an archive of the things that capture my heart. I found early inspiration in the world around me, drawing:

• People: Mapping the endless complexity of human expressions, gestures, and emotions.

• Cars: Capturing the sharp lines, speed, mechanical beauty, and sleek designs of the machines that fascinated me.

• Things I Love: Using a blank page as a personal sanctuary to honor whatever brought me joy, curiosity, or comfort at the time.

Art has never been a passive hobby for me; it is a lens through which I view reality and a language that allows me to speak when words fall short. To love art is to notice the details that others walk right past—the way light hits a surface, the geometry of a moving vehicle, or the subtle emotion hidden in a stranger's posture.Looking back at a lifetime of drawing, I realize that every mark on a page has been a way of anchoring myself to the world. From those first toddler sketches to the pieces I create today, my passion has never wavered. Art remains my oldest friend, my constant evolution, and the truest expression of who I am.
