Meet Matthew

Matthew Musheno is an Atlanta-based entrepreneur, engineer, real estate investor, and technology executive known for building successful businesses across multiple industries including construction technology, real estate development, and engineering solutions.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1975, Matthew moved with his family to Atlanta, Georgia, in 1983 and was raised in East Cobb County. As the oldest of four children, he developed a strong work ethic early in life. After his father suffered a severe neck injury in 1992, Matthew stepped up to help support his family while still in high school. At just 16 years old, he launched M & J Landscaping, growing the company throughout East Cobb and Alpharetta while employing family members, friends, and local workers.

Despite balancing school and business responsibilities, Matthew excelled academically. He graduated near the top of his class with a 4.41 GPA while taking Advanced Placement courses and achieved a perfect SAT score. Recognized for his exceptional intellect, with reported IQ scores exceeding 158, he was accepted into MIT before ultimately choosing Georgia Tech to remain close to his family.

At Georgia Tech, Matthew earned both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering while continuing to operate and expand his landscaping business. In 1999, he successfully sold M & J Landscaping and strategically invested the proceeds into Home Depot stock, building the foundation for future investments and long-term financial growth.

In the years that followed, Matthew expanded into real estate investment throughout East Cobb and Alpharetta. Following the 2008 financial crisis, he strategically positioned family investments before entering the residential real estate market between 2011 and 2013, acquiring properties that continue to generate long-term value and passive income.

Throughout his career, Matthew also became recognized for his work in technology infrastructure and engineering systems, contributing technical architecture and design solutions for major organizations and complex projects, including work connected to airports, healthcare systems, and enterprise infrastructure initiatives.

In 2020, he joined Symphony Technology Solutions, helping scale the company from approximately $8 million to nearly $100 million in growth while serving clients in the construction and infrastructure sectors. The company worked with nationally recognized firms including Holder Construction, Gilbane Building Company, Turner Construction, Skanska, and JE Dunn. Symphony Technology Solutions concluded operations in 2024 after establishing itself as a respected name in construction technology and enterprise solutions.

Today, Matthew Musheno continues to focus on private investments, real estate, business strategy, and mentoring entrepreneurs throughout the Atlanta area. His career reflects decades of resilience, innovation, leadership, and long-term vision across engineering, technology, and business development.
